The Platform


Devoted to the M2Pro SIAME, this platform is physically splitted in two parts:

  • the front-end node (alias frontal)
  • and the desktop nodes (siame[1..23]).

The desktop nodes are connected to the server through a LACP link over a level 2 VLAN routed through DTSI's network infrastructure.

Hardware

Here you'll find a detailled description of both hardware and software of the CAMSI platform.

  • [server] Dell PowerEdge R730xd, 32GB DDR4 2133MHz, 12 x cores E5-2603 v3 @ 1.60GHz, 7 x 300GB 15ktpm 2.5“ SAS –> ~1.7TB storage space in a RAID5 fashion,
  • [nodes] 23 x Dell T1700, 4 cores i5-4590 @ 3.30GHz, 8GB RAM, 24inch LCD.

System

We make use of Fedora Core 24 x86_64 along with various additional repositories.

Software

Find below a non-exhaustive list of the main software hosted by our platform:

  • Xilinx Vivado university 25 seats full licence,
  • Xilinx SDSoC 25 seats full licence,
  • Altera Quartus II + ModelSim university 25 seats full licence.
